After graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Finance and a Bachelor of Economics, Salim began his career at CMC Markets in Account Management within the Equity and Derivative markets. He quickly progressed to Team Leader, managing a group of 15, where he developed both technical market expertise and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced trading environment.

Following his time at CMC, Salim joined Moomoo ANZ as a Relationship Manager, working closely with high-net-worth and institutional clients across the APAC region. In this role, he focused on trade execution and strategy across multiple asset classes, including equities, futures, options, fixed income, and FX. His client-focused approach and deep market knowledge enabled him to deliver tailored solutions and build long-term relationships with sophisticated investors.

Today, Salim serves as a dealer at Lazarus, where he is responsible for the daily execution and management of institutional client trades. Known for his commercial mindset and technical acumen, Salim brings together technical proficiency, leadership experience, and a commitment to client success, positioning him as a trusted partner for institutional investors navigating complex financial markets.
