Joseph advises Lazarus on corporate strategy, legal, risk and compliance matters for the Group. He has extensive experience with over 30 years in management consulting, strategy, law, deal making, venture capital, private equity, corporate finance, debt financing, risk, insurance and capital markets across multiple industry sectors and government organisations. He is also internationally experienced having worked in Australia, United States of America (USA) and multiple countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia over the last 30 years.
He is also the Managing Director and CEO of AC&E International which is a firm of specialist corporate advisors and financiers, where the firm strategically in the equity and debt capital markets is also a Corporate Authorised Representative of the Lazarus AFSL. He spent his formative years at Accenture in management consulting and venture capital, and worked with that firm in Australia and around the world over a period of 14 years.
He has worked internationally with both unlisted entities and listed companies on securities exchanges, including the Australian Securities Exchange, London Stock Exchange, NASDAQ, New York Stock Exchange and various securities exchanges located in Europe and Asia. Over the years he has also worked with a variety of finance firms specialising in corporate finance, venture capital, property finance, structured finance, insurance and professional services firms in the areas of law, tax, accounting, risk, strategic services, technology, real estate and engineering.
He has a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the University of Sydney in Australia, and has completed a variety of professional, technical, legal, accounting and finance industry training in Australia, USA, UK and Asia. He has also been a University and professional industry lecturer, conference presenter, trainer and author in Australia, USA and in Europe.
